Music plays a big role when winding and it is very much about getting into the groove. To wind is when something is wound about a center or an object and in this context it isīasically a sexy way of moving everything between hips and ass and neck in all directions. Winding is a way of dancing that can be done in the privacy of your own home but also very often exercised in a social context in clubs and dancehalls. As your confidence in the movement increases, you will be able to incorporate more movement. While winding youshould feel as if you’re a snake, shimmying through your skin. “Winding is easily the most erotic movement the body can make with little effort. The “winding” movement here comes from that idea.
